Horsebox- License C

Horseboxes are those vehicles used to transport horses from one place to another. Like other heavy-duty vehicles you need to be a certified and authorized driver to professionally drive horse boxes.

License Application:

The C license attainment makes a driver qualified to drive Horsebox vehicles entailing:
• Large Rigid Horseboxes over 7.5 tonnes

Eligibility:

There are two categories:
• New drivers over age of 18 years, having B category license after passing the UK car test or who have exchanged a foreign license to a UK license.
• Or the older drivers who holds C1 license.
For availing the driver training facility for attainment of C license, one must apply for the exact provisional entitlement along with a medical report.

Authorization:

BusTraining’s C license training is authorized under DSA (Driving Standards Agency) and DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency); and is regulated by European Union.

Procedure to procure Horsebox C license:

• Getting provisional entitlement
• Passing DSA theory test
• Completion of practical training
• Passing DSA practical examination
• Completing the Initial Driver CPC
